About Us

Trained and trusted volunteers connecting Arlington’s older adults to information, programs, services, and support

The Arlington Community Ambassador Program, or CAP, was established to help spread the word about the vast resources available to Arlington residents who are trying to navigate the challenges that come with aging.

​Volunteer Arlington Community ambassadors are trained to be a reliable source of information, and assist the older adults in their community learn about and access the many programs, services, and assistance opportunities offered in Arlington County.

The Arlington Community Ambassador Program is a volunteer opportunity open to Arlington residents interested in serving as an information resource for their community.
 

CAP is the result of a partnership between Arlington Neighborhood Village (ANV)Arlington County, and Marymount University. Each recognizes the importance of spreading the word across Arlington County about the vast resources available to older residents trying to navigate the challenges that come with aging.
